FAW Jiefang Qingdao Factory Welding Workshop
The second phase expansion of the welding workshop at the FAW Jiefang Qingdao factory is contracted by the Ninth Mechanical Institute. The production rhythm is 25 JPH, and the workshop area is 14,000 square meters, producing light truck models such as Tiger V and Han V. The expanded workshop includes a new floor assembly automatic line, a door automatic line, an adjustment line, and a WBS line. The floor assembly line uses AGV + accompanying fixtures for workpiece positioning and transportation within and between lines. The door line employs robots + visual recognition for automatic loading and unloading of workpieces, and uses robots for automatic edge rolling to replace traditional hydraulic folding. The adjustment line uses AGV + flexible sleds for the internal transportation of white body vehicles. The WBS line uses a two-layer platform roller bed sled for grouping, storage, and transportation. To ensure normal production in the old workshop, the connection renovation between the old and new workshops was done in a vertical replacement manner. Various specialties collaborated to complete the integration of new and old buildings, new and old public systems, as well as the linkage of new and old production lines, and the linkage of WBS with the original coating machine operation line within 5 days. Additionally, existing production lines underwent intelligent upgrades, including predictive maintenance for automatic equipment and the application of advanced management technologies such as intelligent manufacturing systems. This helps customers become a technical model in the field of commercial vehicle manufacturing in China, led by FAW Jiefang.
