Red Flag Prosperity Project
The FAW Hongqi Prosperity Factory is located in the Changchun Automotive Industry Development Zone, mainly consisting of five major production workshops: stamping, welding, painting, assembly, and battery electric drive. It also includes supporting facilities such as logistics, power station buildings, sewage treatment, as well as related canteens and exhibition halls, with a total construction area of approximately 430,000 square meters and a total investment of about 7.5 billion yuan.
The entire project of the Prosperity Factory is contracted by the Ninth Institute of Machinery for EPC. The painting workshop has a building area of 86,000 square meters and a production rhythm of 60 JPH.
The pre-treatment electrophoresis in the painting workshop adopts a two-step method to meet the needs of different materials for steel and aluminum car bodies simultaneously. A multifunctional line is set up to accommodate black-top cars, two-tone cars, and personalized pattern requirements. The water-based compact B1B2 painting process is used to effectively reduce coating costs and decrease VOC emissions. The whole vehicle uses fully automatic PVC underbody spraying/cabin rough sealing/water-based damping LASD, and spraying on both the interior and exterior surfaces of the car body.
This project extensively applies advanced industry technologies, including intelligent central control, dry paint mist collection system with lime powder, RTO waste gas combustion device + KPR waste gas concentration device, drying waste heat recovery system, APC intelligent air conditioning system, flexible three-dimensional warehouse, and intelligent AGV auxiliary conveying system. It incorporates the concept of 'intelligent manufacturing' to establish a standard 'digital intelligent factory,' achieving high production efficiency, low energy consumption per unit, and high model compatibility. In 2022, it was selected as a digital model project by CCTV.
