Audi PPE Project
The Audi FAW New Energy Changchun Plant is the first factory built by Audi in China for the production of PPE pure electric platform vehicles. The painting workshop has a building area of 55,000 square meters and a production rhythm of 30 JPH. The painting production line includes pre-treatment, cathodic electrophoresis, automatic glue application, automatic spraying, and automatic waxing processes, utilizing the latest 2010V spraying technology from the Volkswagen Group. The pre-treatment electrophoresis uses the fourth-generation intelligent flip conveyor independently developed by the Ninth Institute, while the spraying section employs the latest dry cardboard spray booth. The waxing section uses the latest generation of waxing technology independently developed by the Ninth Institute, and the overall lighting in the workshop adopts a more energy-efficient and intelligent DALI lighting system. After the project is completed, it will not only have significant importance for promoting the Audi brand in the Chinese market but also serves as a comprehensive demonstration of the technical strength of the Ninth Institute in the field of new energy vehicle manufacturing.
