Project Name: Beijing Automotive Foton Motor Co., Ltd. Hydrogen Fuel Commercial Vehicle and Testing Capability Construction Project

Product: Production of 8.5-meter, 10.5-meter, and 12-meter intercity buses

Production Scale: After the project is completed, it will form a comprehensive production capacity of 2000 new energy hydrogen fuel buses per year.

Construction Content: The project utilizes 137 acres of vacant land (approximately 91192㎡) on the east side of Foton Cummins in the Shahe factory area, with a total construction area of about 63764㎡. The planned construction includes a comprehensive laboratory No. 1 (including a power station), comprehensive laboratories No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4, a new energy laboratory, an assembly workshop, corridors, a guard room, a hazardous waste storage, a gas station, factory engineering, and test roads.

Project Progress: Production started in February 2021.

Project Design Concept

Guided by 'Innovation Leading, Scene Driving, Deep Collaboration, Scale Support', focusing on core hydrogen fuel technology, hydrogen fuel commercial vehicle and testing capability construction, as well as scene focus and industrial collaboration, to support the high-quality development of the national hydrogen energy and fuel cell industry through collaborative innovation platforms and accelerate the implementation of the hydrogen energy industry. The project construction level reaches the advanced level in the country.

Project Features

Capable of heavy vehicle environmental simulation testing, fatigue durability testing, body testing, and chassis component testing.

Establish development analysis systems for component-level noise transmission path analysis and sound source analysis testing capabilities; capable of vehicle-level noise source analysis, in-vehicle noise identification, and noise transmission path analysis testing capabilities;

Capable of new energy motor performance testing, environmental testing, and reliability testing capabilities;

Capable of mechanical performance testing and physicochemical performance testing for metal materials and non-metal materials.

Capable of center-of-gravity rollover tests for heavy vehicles, rain tests, benchmarking displays and reviews, and intelligent network connection testing capabilities.

Capable of hydrogen fuel cell testing, hydrogen fuel cell development testing tasks, and electric vehicle high and low temperature charging test capabilities;

Capable of battery cell, module, and battery pack charge-discharge performance testing and environmental test capabilities.

Capable of intelligent network connection system testing and HIL testing capabilities;

Capable of new energy development testing capabilities.
