FAW Jiefang Liuzhou Branch New Energy and Other Products Introduction and Smart Logistics Upgrade Project

Due to the demand for the introduction of new energy products, capacity enhancement, and the improvement of the factory's digital intelligence level at FAW Jiefang, the Liuzhou branch of FAW Jiefang has launched a smart logistics upgrade project. This project is contracted by the Ninth Mechanical Institute EPC, which includes the construction of Logistics Warehouse No. 1 and Warehouse No. 2, with a total area of 19,000 square meters and a designed rhythm of 12 JPH. A new set of intelligent logistics equipment includes one stacker automated warehouse and three outdoor unmanned towing vehicles.

In Logistics Warehouse No. 1, a stacker automated warehouse is being built, covering an area of 1,600 square meters with two aisles. It adopts double-deep shelf dense storage, totaling five layers with 2,176 storage locations. The WMS system of the automated warehouse is connected to the LES system data of the Liuzhou factory, where the factory's LES automatically dispatches shelving and shelving removal tasks. The automated warehouse receives tasks issued by the factory and automatically executes inbound and outbound operations. The information on inbound and outbound tasks executed by the automated warehouse is transmitted in real-time to the factory information system for synchronous interaction. The automated warehouse features automatic conveying, automatic weighing and height measurement, automatic binding for inbound storage, and unbinding for outbound storage.

Logistics Warehouse No. 1 to the final assembly workshop and Class B warehouse, and Logistics Warehouse No. 2 to the final assembly workshop use outdoor unmanned towing vehicles for internal transportation. The outdoor unmanned towing vehicles utilize the most advanced unmanned driving technology, automatically receiving delivery tasks with global intelligent scheduling within the factory area, automatically coupling and uncoupling without human intervention, achieving cutting-edge levels in intelligent delivery within the logistics industry.
