The FAW Hongqi L platform renovation project is fully contracted by the Ninth Mechanical Institute. This project started in 2017 and was completed and put into production in 2018. The welding workshop aims to enhance product quality and promote technological advancement, achieving adaptive flexible production processes, three-dimensional servo flexible positioning, multi-faceted flexible switching, and online laser measurement through production lines such as floor islands, main welding islands, supplementary welding islands, and inspection islands. Additionally, the internal transportation of the line has adopted intelligent AGVs for the first time, enabling flexible welding routes for different vehicle models and process paths. The research on new process routes not only meets future users' personalized demands for passenger cars but also greatly improves equipment flexibility and utilization efficiency. Furthermore, this project has introduced green laser detection technology for the first time, allowing for online measurement of key dimensions of the vehicle body skeleton and gap surface differences of the white body at the same station, checking product quality while guiding door and cover assembly and adjustment work. The completion of this project helps FAW Hongqi's product manufacturing level reach industry-leading standards, continuously enhancing the product quality and market influence of the Hongqi independent high-end sedan brand.
