On July 15, our hospital held a management cadre reading exchange meeting in the East Fourth Floor Conference Room, chaired by Secretary Jiang Dianyiao. All management cadres at the level of department head and above attended the meeting, and Dean Liu Songping was present and gave a speech. At the meeting, Secretary Jiang Dianyiao summarized the recent development and achievements of the reading activities for management cadres in our hospital. Comrades Mu Xuefeng, Wang Yige, Song Zhiyong, Sun Lianhong, Teng Jidong, and others shared their reading experiences. The meeting also distributed the "Selected Reading Experiences of Middle-level Management Cadres" from the Ninth Hospital and recognized the authors of outstanding reading experiences and excellent organizing units for the reading activities.
The reading activity advocated by the Party Committee among all management cadres in the hospital has been ongoing for nearly 10 years. A total of 23 books on enterprise management, including "Challenging Limits," "Discovering Profit Zones," "Pursuing Excellence," "Do Not Shift Responsibility," "Details Determine Success or Failure," and "Innovative Management," have been distributed to management cadres. This year, the Party Committee distributed two more books: "The Answer is Always on Site" and "7 Days to Understand Management Psychology," along with a self-study plan. Each party branch actively organized reading and learning activities, and all management cadres made use of their spare time to study and write learning experiences. The "Selected Reading Experiences of Middle-level Management Cadres" included learning insights from 35 comrades. Through organized and planned self-study reading activities, the horizons of management cadres have been broadened to varying degrees, enriching their thinking and creating a good atmosphere for our hospital's management cadres to learn management, improve management, change work styles, and lead teams well, laying a solid ideological foundation for building a learning-oriented enterprise.
Dean Liu Songping emphasized at the meeting that reading activities are very beneficial for improving the overall quality of management cadres, especially the importance of applying what is learned. He hopes that all management cadres in the hospital will persistently find time for self-study amidst their busy production and management work, go deep into the front line and on-site to serve employees; enhance their sense of responsibility, take initiative in their work, cooperate actively, and take responsibility to do projects well and lead teams effectively, shouldering the important task of building an independent FAW and developing the automotive industry.
