"Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award"This award is jointly established by the China Machinery Industry Federation and the China Mechanical Engineering Society, approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology, and recognized by the National Science and Technology Awards Office. It is also a comprehensive award aimed at the national machinery industry, mainly recognizing and incentivizing projects that promote technological progress in the industry and make significant contributions with major economic or social benefits. It is currently the only high-level award approved by the state in China's machinery industry and is also an important channel for applying for national science and technology awards in the future.
This award follows 2021 the project of the new intelligent factory awarded in the year, marking the second time in three years that the Ninth Institute of Machinery has won the first prize of the Mechanical Industry Science and Technology Award. This is a result of the Ninth Institute's continuous increase in R&D investment and strengthening brand building in recent years, showcasing its strength in technological innovation. It will further inspire the innovation and creativity of a large number of technical personnel at the Ninth Institute, working together with partners to continuously create industry-leading technologies, collaboratively solving industry "bottleneck"'s technical and equipment issues, supporting high-quality sustainable development for both the industry and the Ninth Institute.
