2022In the year, under the command and leadership of various levels of company leaders and Minister Liu Qinghai, the Structural Design Department of the Architectural Engineering Institute worked diligently and without slack, making outstanding contributions to continuously creating brilliant achievements for the Ninth Institute in difficult circumstances.
Prioritizing quality control and design optimization as the focus of departmental work.Strengthening quality control requirements, leveraging team collaboration capabilities, especially enhancing joint reviews; supervising control processes, planning projects well within the department, ensuring that all technical documents at each stage are executed seamlessly, leading to an overall improvement in design quality. Organizing technical backbones in structure to brainstorm innovative and optimized structural solutions. Conducting comparative analysis of multiple schemes from various dimensions while meeting safety, usability, and user requirements using optimal solutions. For example, in the Audi FAW New Energy Vehicle project, special floor slabs were used effectively reducing the amount of rebar work and improving construction speed, gaining time for early warm closure. Projects such as Audi FAW New Energy Vehicles, FAW Jiefang Qingdao base R&D capability enhancement, and Hongqi Changqing factory logistics warehouse construction saved a large amount of steel materials, rebar, and cast-in-place piles, reducing project investment.
Adopting various measures to strictly meet the rigid requirements of each node in the design plan.Weekly statistics on overall design plans were conducted to analyze employee workload and project characteristics comprehensively. Close communication was maintained with the company's business center to ensure reasonable matching of human resources with project progress. The annual on-time rate for design plans and key milestones was nearly one hundred percent; construction drawings reached a historical high with no quality complaints. Numerous projects such as Chengdu Hive, Great Wall Beam, Qingdao Jiefang received high recognition from clients and received letters of commendation.
While ensuring production, significant efforts were made in R&D and capability enhancement.All tasks related to standardized topics, productive R&D, paper publication, utility model patents were completed according to planned milestones throughout the year. Participation in multiple national standard compilations led to a large number of technological R&D and standardization results being applied. Keeping pace with market demands emphasized improving digital capabilities while encouraging young people to undertake positive design tasks. Throughout the year completedBIMmodeling projects saw breakthroughs in both quantity and building area achieving full coverage of three-dimensional modeling for general contracting projects. Training was organized as planned with all personnel reaching digital capabilitiesBand above levels while actively participating in competitions at all levels achieving excellent results. As a trial operation department for knowledge management within the company, a comprehensive sorting of detailed business process diagrams for structural design was conducted summarizing experiences, consolidating knowledge, and internalizing capabilities providing strong support for building and improving the company's knowledge management platform.BIMThe work mindset of all personnel shifted from design to general contracting actively promoting integration between design and construction transforming design technical advantages into general contracting management advantages.
Multiple training sessions were organized for designers at project sites while many technical backbones were allocated to participate in general contracting project management.
