[Chen Jianjun reported] On April 17, the leadership team of the Ninth Institute held a democratic life meeting in the first conference room on the fifth floor of the East Building. The Minister of the Organization and Personnel Department, Chen Ji, along with Li Kai from the Organization and Personnel Department, Li Yunfeng from the Discipline Inspection Commission, and all members of the company's leadership team attended the meeting.
This democratic life meeting focused on the theme of 'breaking through difficulties, changing work styles, increasing synergy, and improving the operational quality of Ninth Institute projects and customer satisfaction.' It highlighted a problem-oriented approach, organizing 63 collected opinions and suggestions based on thorough research and soliciting feedback. Among these, there were 41 related to project operation control, 6 related to procurement, 9 related to technical development, and 7 related to factory manufacturing. The leadership team held multiple meetings to focus on and grasp the issues, ultimately identifying the problem as 'system linkage, strengthening full-process control of projects, and improving the operational quality of Ninth Institute projects and customer satisfaction.' Using 'problem-solving' as a vehicle, they further focused on specific project reviews related to the relocation construction of FAW Jiefang Qingqi, deeply analyzing the manifestations of problems, the main issues currently faced by the leadership team and its members, as well as the ideological roots behind these problems. They formulated practical and feasible rectification measures targeting these issues. The leadership team and its members conducted in-depth analysis and self-examination, engaged in criticism and self-criticism, openly discussed shortcomings, faced problems for development, achieving the goals of changing work styles, unifying thoughts, and enhancing synergy.
Minister Chen Ji fully affirmed the preparation, organizational form, and positive effects of the Ninth Institute's democratic life meeting. He also provided specific opinions and suggestions regarding focusing on problems and ideas, innovating methods and approaches, and strengthening targeted measures.
This democratic life meeting was held at a critical moment marking the conclusion of the Ninth Institute's 'Twelfth Five-Year Plan' and laying a foundation for a new situation in the 'Thirteenth Five-Year Plan.' Through this meeting, it further enhanced the synergy of the leadership team, strengthened its cohesion and combat effectiveness, providing organizational support for better and faster new development of the Ninth Institute.
