The union of the Ninth Mechanical Institute selected15elite players to participate in this competition. Dong Jinghua, the company's deputy general manager and deputy secretary of the party committee, and chairman of the union, along with Wu Haifeng, vice chairman of the union and director of the two offices, came to the competition site to cheer for the contestants. Chief referee Li Yunjun served as the referee for this shuttlecock kicking competition.
Before the competition, Chairman Dong Jinghua encouraged all participating team members, hoping that through the competition, friendships would be enhanced and team strength would be consolidated; he hoped that all participants would feel success and experience gains through their hard work, showcasing their style and spirit in the competition.
The shuttlecock kicking teams consist of8male players and7female players. During the official competition, among them,12individuals take turns to kick the shuttlecock for1minutes, with the total number of kicks counted; the one with more wins. During the competition, team members calmed their minds and aimed to improve their kicking frequency with each rise and fall of the shuttlecock.12After rounds of kicking, the participating team achieved885good results.
The shuttlecock kicking competition is the first event of this year's 'Red Flag Cup' series of sports competitions.
