6Month29On that day, Liu Shixin, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Mechanical Ninth Institute, along with Dong Jinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, visited the orphan school to meet with teachers and students. They also attended the unveiling ceremony of the roller skating venue sponsored by Mechanical Ninth Institute. Members of the Comprehensive Management Joint Party Branch accompanied them, and they were warmly welcomed by Zhang Jie, Principal of the Provincial Orphan School, Party Secretary Yang Xuewei, and Director of the Party Office Luo Rui.
At the unveiling ceremony, Principal Zhang Jie sincerely thanked Mechanical Ninth Institute for its long-term support to the Provincial Orphan School, which has provided strong motivation for the development of quality education at the school. The donated roller skating venue has created better conditions to enrich the children's lives. She expressed that more platforms will be built to establish more bridges of love between Mechanical Ninth Institute and the Provincial Orphan School to support the healthy growth of orphaned children.
General Manager Liu Shixin stated that caring for the growth and progress of young people is an unshirkable responsibility of Mechanical Ninth Institute. He hopes that the use of the roller skating venue will bring more joy and laughter to the children. Liu introduced that Mechanical Ninth Institute has always been committed to being a socially responsible enterprise, creating a team and family that is compassionate, warm, and powerful. He encouraged the children to become well-rounded social talents with ideals, ambitions, skills, and responsibilities, and promised to open the doors of Mechanical Ninth Institute to all students.
Accompanied by school leaders, Liu and Dong visited the school history exhibition and pandemic exhibition to understand the school's development process and achievements in combating COVID-19. They entered the students' learning and living areas to learn about details of their studies and lives, and watched a roller skating performance by the students.
According to the work plan of the Comprehensive Management Joint Party Branch,2021all party members and active members established a three-year love assistance plan in partnership with Class 3 of Grade 7 at Jilin Provincial Orphan School. After a year, they returned to the orphan school and donated learning supplies, watches, and other materials to the children. The children presented their artwork as gifts to the company leaders. Principal Zhang Jie also gifted a wall painting titled 'Shangshan Ruoshui' to the company as a token of appreciation.
While continuously promoting forward development, Mechanical Ninth Institute remains true to its original aspiration. It will increase efforts in public welfare, actively undertake more social responsibilities, and contribute its strength to special education for orphans in Jilin Province.
