The sound of drums and gongs celebrates the festival, and the crowd rejoices in the Lantern Festival. To promote the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation and enrich and enliven employees' cultural life during the festival, on February 15, the 15th day of the first lunar month, the union of the Ninth Mechanical Institute grandly held a riddle-guessing activity to celebrate the Lantern Festival. The event was simultaneously held at the company headquarters cafeteria, Landi company cafeteria, Tianjin branch, and Shanghai branch.
Each venue was carefully decorated with large red lanterns and colorful riddles interspersed throughout. The union of the Ninth Mechanical Institute prepared over six hundred riddles of various types, covering common knowledge, popular science, cultural knowledge, idioms, and more. They were lively and interesting, providing both entertainment and knowledge, along with exquisite small gifts.
At half past eleven in the morning, the riddle-guessing activity attracted many employees to participate. At the event site, some employees furrowed their brows, racking their brains to think of answers; some took notes while pondering; others discussed with each other. Employees who guessed the answers rushed to the prize redemption area in an orderly manner to verify their answers with staff, and their joy was evident after receiving their prizes. In less than half an hour, all six hundred colorful riddles were guessed correctly by everyone.
This riddle-guessing activity was closely related to life and full of cultural significance. In this harmonious, festive, and warm atmosphere of celebration, employees not only felt the charm of traditional culture but also added to the joyful festive spirit.
