On the morning of January 31, the eve of the Lunar New Year, Yang Yumin, Director and Deputy General Manager of the Ninth Institute of Machinery, Assistant General Manager Li Huafeng, General Manager of the Procurement Center Zhang Kuiqi, and Yang Xueyong, Head of the Production Management Department of the Business Center, visited the site of the Phase II general contracting project of the R&D General Institute to warmly greet the team members who remained on duty during the holiday.

The R&D General Institute project is a new energy independent brand R&D center built by FAW Group. Once completed, it will become the first domestic and world's leading new energy testing and testing base. The project is planned in one go and implemented in two phases, with Phase I already completed. Phase II has a construction area of nearly 240,000 square meters, including seven large comprehensive laboratories, a joint station building, office buildings, parking garages, and other ancillary facilities. The buildings are mainly three stories above ground, with some areas including large basements, incorporating multiple structural systems and a large construction volume. The project took only four months from commencement to high-quality closure. Among them, from the lifting of the first steel column of the main structure to the completion of walls (including windows) and roofs (including insulation and waterproofing), the total construction period was only 2 months and 10 days, once again showcasing the speed of the Ninth Institute.
Wang Tianyong, Deputy Dean of the Architectural Engineering Institute and Project Manager, reported on construction arrangements during the Spring Festival and safety measures. Leaders of the Ninth Institute highly praised the stage achievements of the project and extended New Year greetings to all members who participated in and supported the project!
