On the morning of January 31, at the end of the year and the beginning of a new one, Liu Shixin, Director, Party Secretary, and General Manager of the Ninth Mechanical Institute, along with Deputy General Manager Mu Xuefeng, Assistant General Managers Shi Fu and Cui Zhaojun, Dean of the Construction Engineering Institute Wang Yige, and other leaders including Wu Haifeng, Director of the two offices, visited the site of the water-based paint renovation project in Workshop 2 of the FAW Hongqi Ulsan Factory. They extended holiday greetings and sincere blessings to the employees of the Ninth Mechanical Institute who remained on-site during the Spring Festival and conducted an on-site inspection of the project.
The water-based paint renovation project in Workshop 2 of the FAW Hongqi Ulsan Factory is a project undertaken by FAW Group to meet environmental regulations and benchmark against 'world-class technology levels'. It is based on concepts of environmental protection, energy saving, advanced functionality, and ease of maintenance. The project mainly includes the renovation of water-based paint equipment, preliminary transformation for model changeover, and some civil engineering supporting facilities.
Members of the project team from the Ninth Mechanical Institute, including Liu Zhuo, Zhang Wanhui, Yu Xiaobing, Shi Yongli, Wang Bo, Pan Shiwei, Tian Tao, Zhou Hongyu, Zhao Tian, Zhi Hongyu, Gong Zhenyu, and Gao Yubo overcame many difficulties such as an accelerated production change schedule and complex domestic and international pandemic situations. They united as one to re-establish project plans and adjust construction schemes. Both civil construction and equipment installation teams entered the site on time. With the joint efforts of the project team and various subcontractors, the civil construction and equipment installation work related to the preliminary transformation for model changeover has been completed and has entered the equipment debugging phase, laying a solid foundation for achieving the renovation project goals during the Spring Festival.
With the completion of the preliminary transformation project, greater challenges will arise for the next phase of renovation work. The project team will always prioritize construction quality and safety control work. With a rapid and efficient response mechanism and a scientifically reasonable construction plan, they aim to achieve project goals and support clients' businesses in thriving.
