Mechanical Ninth Academy Project Update | FAW Jiefang J7 Complete Vehicle Intelligent Factory Completed and Put into Production

On December 14, the completion and production ceremony of the FAW Jiefang J7 intelligent factory was grandly held in Changchun. Jilin Provincial Party Secretary Jing Junhai attended the event and announced the completion and production of the factory. Jilin Provincial Deputy Secretary and Governor Han Jun, Chairman and Party Secretary of China FAW Xu Liuping also attended the event and delivered speeches. Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee Member and Executive Vice Governor Wu Jingping, Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee Member and Secretary General Hu Jiafu, Changchun Municipal Deputy Secretary and Mayor Wang Zilian, Provincial Government Secretary General An Guiwu, leaders from relevant departments of Jilin Province, Changchun City, and the Automotive Development Zone, members of the leadership team of China FAW and FAW Jiefang, General Manager of Mechanical Ninth Institute Liu Shixin, Dean of the Architectural Engineering Institute Wang Yige, Assistant Dean of the Architectural Engineering Institute Zhang Qiming, and all members of the project management team for the Jiefang J7 general contracting witnessed this important moment of the new factory's completion and production.
After 535 days, all members of the Jiefang J7 project team at the Ninth Institute fought against freezing rain, pandemic challenges, raced against time, ensured quality, and built a brand, successfully completing the project construction work. They met the high standards required by the owner and received recognition from provincial, municipal, group leaders, and the owner. In this project, the Mechanical Ninth Institute adopted self-developed intelligent control technology for public systems for the first time, achieving a new breakthrough in the wave of digital transformation. The workshop lighting uses multiple control methods including line control, mobile APP, and central control to achieve automatic lighting and shutdown functions based on workshop lighting sensors and detectors.
Real-time monitoring has been achieved for substations, combined air conditioning, intelligent lighting, air compressors, oil products, etc., through set sensors. The system automatically adjusts control strategies based on real-time data monitoring, accurately achieving energy digitalization and automated management, reducing energy consumption by 20% and carbon emissions by 660 tons per year. The Ninth Institute has taken a solid step towards building an intelligent factory.
