According to the annual work plan, our institute held the 2014 work summary and commendation conference of the Ninth Institute and the 2015 work arrangement meeting on January 30, 2015, in the conference room on the fifth floor. More than 120 people attended the meeting, including company leaders, senior managers, secondary managers, department heads, senior experts, experts, employee representatives, and representatives of advanced collectives, excellent projects, model employees, and outstanding employees. The meeting was hosted by Liu Shixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice General Manager of the company.
The meeting first commended the advanced collectives, excellent projects, model employees, and outstanding employees of the Ninth Institute for the year 2014. The meeting called on all employees to learn from the advanced, focus on their positions, make contributions to their work, and make greater contributions to the better and faster development of the Ninth Institute. At the meeting, General Manager Liu Songping delivered a report on '2014 Work Summary and 2015 Work Arrangement.' In 2014, the Ninth Institute closely followed the annual work guidelines, accelerated technological innovation and promotion efforts, fully promoted the implementation of major projects of the group, scientifically planned and overcame difficulties, and comprehensively achieved the annual business goals. The Ninth Institute was rated as a model unit of the group company. In 2015, the Ninth Institute will face a more complex internal and external business environment with both opportunities and challenges. The annual work will focus on several aspects: first, actively competing for internal and external markets to maintain business scale and quality; second, consolidating management foundations, improving management levels, and providing efficient functional services; third, strengthening project process control to improve quality, eliminate ineffective workloads, and control costs; fourth, accelerating the standardization construction of technical platforms to enhance technical levels and competitiveness; fifth, promoting centralized procurement platform construction to enhance project profitability; sixth, strictly governing the Party, striving for excellence, leading thoughts, combating corruption and promoting clean governance to drive sustainable development of enterprises.
In his concluding remarks, Deputy Secretary Liu Shixin required all departments to seriously understand the report's requirements and ensure effective communication and implementation. They should quickly transform the requirements of the company's annual work outline into work plans for each system and department to lay a solid foundation for a smooth start to the annual work of the entire institute.
At the meeting, Wang Huanlong, Director of the Discipline Inspection Commission's Supervision Office of the company, also conveyed 'the notice from the Group Company's Discipline Inspection Commission on strengthening supervision and accountability to ensure a practical, frugal, civilized and clean holiday' as well as 'the report from the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection regarding seven cases violating the spirit of the Central Eight Regulations.'
