The civil engineering public works of the "Volatile Organic Compounds Treatment - Ulsan Plant Coating No. 2 Water-Based Paint Renovation Project" undertaken by the Ninth Institute entered the construction critical phase on November 1, 2021. The project team, consisting of the Engineering Logistics Department of FAW Group, FAW supervision, the Ninth Institute, and the construction unit, has been working tirelessly day and night, unafraid of difficulties, and closely cooperating to ensure that both the construction progress and quality meet standards.
The main engineering content currently being implemented in the project includes: the civil engineering main structure of the combined power station building, the new construction of welding No. 2 vehicle shed, coating No. 2 vehicle shed, general No. 2 vehicle shed, and coating No. 3 vehicle shed. The schedule is extremely tight; to meet the project milestone requirements, the procurement department of the Ninth Institute and the design team of the Construction Engineering Institute have been working overtime to complete subcontracting procurement and drawing design work. Recent heavy snowfall has added difficulties to project implementation, so project team members have proactively handled procedures for greening transplantation, entry of construction personnel, and vehicles to create favorable conditions for comprehensive construction operations.
After being washed by heavy snow, the project site officially entered a difficult winter construction phase, but the severe cold and challenges will not affect the high work enthusiasm of the Ninth Institute project team members. They will continue to firmly execute the construction plan, overcome winter construction difficulties, strive to create a brand project, and express gratitude and return to customers for their trust and entrustment to the Ninth Institute!
