To lead the in-depth application of digital technology in projects, stimulate the motivation of key talents in digital technology, and promote the exchange of digital technology, the 7th "Golden Mouse Cup" Digital Technology Application Achievement Competition was successfully held on November 10, organized by the trade union of the Ninth Institute and hosted by the Technical Center. Dong Jinghua, Chairman of the Company’s Trade Union and Deputy General Manager, delivered a speech and awarded the winning teams. Li Huafeng, Assistant General Manager and General Manager of the Technical Center, along with judges and project team members, participated in the final defense session, while digital personnel from various engineering institutes and new employees observed the competition on-site.
Chairman Dong Jinghua pointed out in his speech before the competition that the company's 14th Five-Year Plan clearly defines the strategic goal of being a leader in digital application in the industry. Digital technology is not only a requirement for self-improvement but also an essential means for the company to undertake business, deliver results, and achieve high-quality development. He congratulated this year's Ninth Institute project participating in the "12th Innovation Cup" of the China Exploration and Design Association - "BIM Forward Design of China FAW Hongqi New Energy Vehicle Factory" for winning the only special prize in the "Industrial Building Category". He fully affirmed this year's improvement in the company's digital technology level and the progress of its digital transformation.
This competition was based on actual completed digital production projects this year for registration. After recommendations from engineering institutes and preliminary evaluations by judges, 9 projects stood out from 45 digital projects to enter the finals. During the finals, each project's digital leader introduced their project's digital application achievements from several aspects including project complexity, planning, design standards, problem-solving, innovation, and promotional value. The judges scored on-site according to scoring criteria. After three hours of exciting competition, the projects "FAW Jiefang Commercial Vehicle Guanghan Base Project - TC Collaboration" and "Taizhou Starry Sky Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. Pulsating Production Line Intelligent Assembly System Project" won first prize; three projects including "FAW Jiefang Commercial Vehicle Guanghan Base Project - Cab Welding Workshop" won second prize; and four projects including "FAW Jiefang Qingdao New Energy Light Truck Base Total Assembly AGV Simulation Project" won third prize.
This Golden Mouse Digital Competition is based on project applications, adhering to the principle of achieving full-process autonomy, guided by "digital empowerment" and "data value-added", advocating innovative concepts, focusing on demonstrating the value generated by digital technology and solving practical problems. It aims to truly promote quality improvement, efficiency enhancement, and cost reduction. It is hoped that everyone will use this competition as a platform for communication to learn from each other and promote each other, striving to be pioneers in digital technology application at the Ninth Institute and providing strong support for its development in digital technology. In the future, the Digital Department will also need to coordinate with various institutes and departments to work hard on deepening and expanding the application of digital technology, forming a process-oriented and standardized technical system for the Ninth Institute, innovating thinking, bravely shouldering responsibilities, striving for progress, and promoting the realization of the company's strategy of being a leader in digital application in the industry.
