Ninth Hospital Project Update | Red Flag Prosperity Factory SOP and First Complete Vehicle Off the Line

On November 10, 2021, at 11:10 AM, the SOP of the E-QM5 model and the ceremony for the first complete vehicle off the production line were grandly held in the final inspection chain of the assembly workshop. Zhang Shuo, the factory director of FAW Group's Prosperity Factory, Deputy Factory Director Zhang Jijun, Engineering Logistics Department Assembly Director Dong Wei, and Senior Director Liu Donglin attended the ceremony.Long hairGeneral Manager of New Energy Shi Liwei, Deputy Dean of Manufacturing Technology Institute of the Ninth Academy Lu Zhendong and other leaders attended the ceremony. Representatives from the Prosperity Factory workshop, project team representatives from the Engineering Logistics Department, management team from the Ninth Academy, and subcontractor representatives witnessed this exciting moment together.
Major milestone nodes of Hongqi Prosperity Factory:
On April 15, 2020, the project groundbreaking started;
On July 1, 2020, the main construction commenced;
On December 30, 2020, the factory was warm and sealed;
On March 1, 2021, process equipment entered the factory;
On June 29, 2021, the factory was completed;
On November 10, 2021, the first E-QM5 complete vehicle rolled off the line.
The rolling off of the first E-QM5 complete vehicle marks the official start of mass production at Prosperity Factory. As the first vehicle slowly drove off the assembly line, a technologically advanced digitalized, intelligent, flexible, and green automotive industry benchmark factory officially joined FAW's manufacturing landscape, which will surely help achieve Hongqi's '14th Five-Year' strategic goals.
