Recently, the project for the renovation of the FAW Hongqi HQE painting workshop undertaken by the Ninth Academy successfully completed the final acceptance of the project.
The renovation project of the Hongqi HQE painting workshop is one of the key sub-projects of a critical model project of FAW Group, which has significant political implications. The successful implementation of this project strongly guarantees the achievement of the annual goals for this model project.
This project is a renovation project that includes various professional contents such as construction, manufacturing, non-standard equipment, mechanization, and electrical control. The workshop has a small area with numerous pieces of equipment, making the renovation very challenging. Due to the special nature of the model involved in this project, as well as unconventional production processes and technical requirements, some key equipment's technical solutions could not be referenced and needed to be designed from scratch. As product development progressed, project requirements continued to change. The project plan went through a cycle of 'discussion - finalization - overturning - re-finalization' repeatedly, with major plan changes occurring four times and countless minor adjustments and changes.
The design team from the Ninth Academy demonstrated excellent service awareness throughout this process. Team members maintained a positive attitude, repeatedly visited the site for inspections, and tirelessly collaborated with the client to adjust plans until they were finalized, laying a solid foundation for the successful implementation of the project. During the project's execution, under the meticulous organization of the project manager and the leadership of the construction manager, the project team worked together diligently to strictly control the pandemic situation and successfully completed all stages from equipment dismantling and foundation construction to equipment installation and adjustment. All milestone nodes were achieved 100%, and management work related to quality, safety, and epidemic prevention was carried out effectively, receiving unanimous praise from the client.
During the debugging period, due to high confidentiality levels and limited debugging vehicle availability, effective debugging and verification time were greatly shortened. The debugging team did not shrink back but faced challenges head-on, actively and enthusiastically discussing optimization of debugging processes while working overtime without complaint within limited timeframes to complete debugging and verification tasks on schedule.
After practical production verification, all indicators met acceptance standards, successfully completing final acceptance. The smooth implementation of this project provides strong support for the production of this key model. It is believed that in the near future, everyone will be able to witness the charm of this model firsthand, feeling proud and honored for the strength and progress of our country and for the contributions made by the Ninth Academy.
