The annual meeting of the China Society of Automotive Engineers | The special sub-forum on 'Exploration and Prospects of Smart Factory Practices' was successfully held.

On October 19, the annual conference and exhibition of the China Society of Automotive Engineers opened in Shanghai. On the morning of the 20th, the special sub-forum on "Exploration and Outlook of Intelligent Factory Practices" organized by the Engineering Construction and Equipment Technology Branch of the China Society of Automotive Engineers was successfully held.
The chair of the special sub-forum was Liu Shixin, director, party secretary, and general manager of the Ninth Institute. The meeting was hosted by Li Huafeng, assistant general manager of the Ninth Institute. Nearly a hundred experts from automotive manufacturing enterprises, surveying and design units, equipment manufacturing, and intelligent system service providers participated in the sub-forum for exchange and discussion.
The special sub-forum focused on intelligent factories, green factory planning and design, intelligent equipment, and the development and application technology of intelligent systems. It invited well-known experts from organizations such as Alibaba Cloud, Siemens, Yilan Information Technology, and the Ninth Institute to engage in discussions. Minister Hu Chenglin from the Non-standard Equipment Engineering Department of the Equipment Engineering Institute of the Ninth Institute and Minister Yang Yaoyong from the Machining and Assembly Department of the Manufacturing Technology Institute of the Ninth Institute each gave technical reports on "Exploration and Outlook of Intelligent Equipment Practices in Automotive Coating" and "Exploration and Outlook of Intelligent Equipment Practices in Automotive Final Assembly," sharing the latest research results and project practice experiences in intelligent factory technology from the Ninth Institute, which received positive attention from attending experts.
This year's conference organized a total of over 99 papers for submission in the Engineering Construction and Equipment Technology Branch. After expert review, 48 papers were recommended for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
