Ninth Institute Project Update | The capacity enhancement project of FAW Hongqi Ulsan Plant in 2021 has been successfully accepted.

Recently, the final acceptance of the production line renovation project for FAW Hongqi's Ulsan factory, undertaken by the Ninth Institute, was successfully completed.
The project involved the renovation of the existing processes and mechanized equipment at the second assembly plant of the Hongqi Ulsan factory, completing the transfer production tasks for the Mazda CX-4 and Atenza models, in order to free up production capacity at the first assembly plant for Hongqi vehicle production.
Since entering the site on January 22, 2021, the project team has worked day and night, remained on-site, faced difficulties without fear, and closely cooperated to ensure the progress and quality of construction and commissioning. On February 14, 2021, during the Lunar New Year, the first vehicle rolled off the line, providing strong support for the normal production start of the production line. By March 1, we reached the project's SOP node, with a smooth handover and commissioning of the entire project without delays or quality issues. On October 15, after continuous verification and optimization of the production line, the project successfully completed its final acceptance work.
During implementation, to ensure that project goals were met, the project team meticulously controlled all aspects of the project: ensuring construction progress through daily planning inspections and evening meetings; strictly controlling construction quality through quality disclosures and inspections; and rigorously enforcing construction safety through safety meetings, daily inspections, and full supervision. During periods of severe local epidemic situations, the project team resolutely implemented relevant epidemic prevention requirements and managed strictly, prioritizing epidemic prevention work to achieve zero infections among involved personnel. The implementation process and effects of progress, quality, safety, and epidemic prevention fully reflect our company's management level and comprehensive strength, receiving unanimous praise from the owner.
The successful completion of the project significantly increased the production capacity of Hongqi vehicles and achieved the project's expected goals. The Ninth Institute presented high-quality results in production line renovation to our clients, providing solid capacity support for achieving the target of 400,000 Hongqi vehicles produced and sold in 2021.
