Recently, the Ninth Institute won the bid for the Zhaoqing Xiaopeng General Assembly Conveyor Line Expansion and Transformation Project. This marks another collaboration with Xiaopeng Motors following the successful implementation of the Xiaopeng Zhaoqing Base PBS expansion project and the successful bid for the Xiaopeng (Wuhan) General Assembly Workshop Conveyor Line Project, indicating that the cooperation between the Ninth Institute and Xiaopeng Motors, a leading player in the new car manufacturing sector, is steadily deepening.
This project is based on a production capacity planning of 200,000 units per year, along with the steady enhancement of Xiaopeng Motors' brand appeal and increasing market demand. The existing conveyor line capacity is insufficient, necessitating an increase in conveyor line rhythm. The transformation includes enhancing the rhythm of the conveyor line body, expanding workstations, and improving equipment reliability, involving interior lines, chassis lines, final lines, and EMS battery assembly lines. After implementation, the rhythm of the existing conveyor line will be increased to 45 JPH.
