On September 24, the China Survey and Design Association announced the results of the "2021 12th Innovation Cup Building Information Modeling (BIM) Application Competition." The project "BIM Forward Design of China FAW Hongqi New Energy Vehicle Factory" from the Ninth Institute stood out from 1,957 entries after several rounds of evaluation, including preliminary, semi-final, and final defense, winning the highest award in the "Industrial Building Category" and being the only special award recipient.
"Innovation Cup Building Information Modeling (BIM) Application Competition" is organized by the China Survey and Design Association and is a national BIM technology competition aimed at the surveying and design industry. It is one of the most prestigious competitions in the domestic BIM field, with many state-owned design institutes and construction enterprises participating. The award for the project "BIM Forward Design of China FAW Hongqi New Energy Vehicle Factory" follows the first prize won by the Ninth Institute in July at the "Northeast Construction Engineering BIM Technology Application Competition," marking another top industry digital competition award this year and affirming the Ninth Institute's level of BIM technology application.
