[Ding Wei Report] On the morning of September 28, in order to carry out the project establishment work for the Group Company's 2015 process technology innovation projects and to support the overall goals of high quality, high efficiency, and low cost in production and manufacturing, a team of five led by Sun Zhiyang, Deputy Director of the Development Department of the Group Company, came to our institute to participate in a research and exchange meeting on process technology R&D. Our institute's president Liu Songping, chief engineer Ma Rucheng, and leaders responsible for technical R&D from various departments, totaling 16 people, attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Yu Mei from the Development Department of the Group Company introduced the current development status of four major process technology platforms: vehicle technology, assembly blank technology, equipment technology, and basic technology. She described the 20 professional technical development directions involved in these four platforms and explained the focus of future R&D work as well as the establishment of the Group Company's 2015 process technology innovation projects. Deputy Director Sun Zhiyang emphasized that project topics should focus on applicable products or project carriers and analyze and improve process technology from a life cycle perspective; he stressed that project topics should be based on quality, cost, and efficiency issues in current business operations, improvements in quality goals in new product projects, and benchmarking of process technology both domestically and internationally.
Zhao Rui, Director of the Digital Room of our institute's Technology Development Department, introduced the establishment of process technology innovation projects and the construction of research teams in recent years. In recent years, our institute has placed great importance on process technology R&D work, completing 33 group-level R&D project topics. A total of 29 projects have received national and provincial science and technology progress awards during construction projects. We have also been awarded 32 patents and inventions, providing strong technical support for the construction of factories for the Group Company and contributing to factory construction in the automotive industry. Deputy Director Sun Zhiyang highly praised and affirmed the achievements in technical R&D made by our institute in recent years.
Through this exchange meeting, a consensus was reached between the Development Department of the Group Company and our institute on the importance of process technology R&D, conducting R&D project establishment to solve actual product or project problems, and continuously leveraging our institute's technical R&D resource advantages to support the Group Company's independent development. Both parties expressed their intention to further strengthen communication and cooperation in areas such as process technology platform construction and R&D of process technology innovation projects.
