"Establishing a model for FAW painting, assisting the Hongqi brand in its leap forward." On August 25, the electrophoretic paint tank ceremony was held at the Hongqi Changchun Prosperity Base painting workshop project. This tanking marks that the overall equipment installation and debugging work of the factory has reached the requirements for normal operation. The Group's Engineering and Logistics Production Department and the Hongqi factory fully affirmed the current debugging results of the Ninth Institute.
The prerequisite for electrophoretic tanking is to ensure that the tank body and pipeline system are free of oil and contamination. This process requires multiple rounds of chemical cleaning, followed by sampling for shrinkage tests. Only after passing the tests can electrophoretic paint tanking proceed; otherwise, there is a risk of contamination, which will directly affect the body quality and may even lead to the scrapping of the electrophoretic paint. To carry out electrophoretic paint tanking as scheduled, the project team overcame difficulties, united as one, increased night shifts, and ensured that the tank was cleaned continuously for 24 hours, ultimately ensuring the successful completion of electrophoretic paint tanking.
Electrophoretic paint tanking is the beginning of validating the entire painting process and an important milestone for the painting workshop project at China FAW Hongqi Prosperity Factory. The mechanical Ninth Institute project team took this tanking work as an opportunity to comprehensively carry out full-process validation of the production process, achieving a reasonable match between design parameters and equipment operation, identifying and solving problems encountered during the process, laying a solid foundation for timely and quality product delivery, and assisting in the leap-forward development of Hongqi brand automobiles to create new brilliance!
