On the morning of June 29, 2021, the delivery and summary commendation conference of the main factory building of Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. New Energy Plant was held in Tianjin, and the company won the Excellent Design Award for this project.
The FAW Toyota New Energy Plant project is located in the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City, covering an area of 970,000 square meters in phase one, with a building area of 340,000 square meters. It includes six major production process workshops: stamping, welding, painting, assembly, resin, and battery. Once completed, the factory will achieve an annual production capacity of 200,000 vehicles.
In the project design, the project team from the Ninth Academy played an active role. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and rainy season, they overcame difficulties such as strict epidemic prevention measures, tight schedules, and heavy tasks. Leaders and employees worked together to tackle challenges. Designers worked day and night to actively respond to customer needs, completing the overall project two months ahead of schedule.
This award is a high recognition from Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd. for the Ninth Academy in terms of management innovation and professional technology.
