On June 26, the company's Party Committee organized a celebration for the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and a commendation conference for July 1st, commemorating the glorious history of the Party and looking forward to a bright and beautiful future. Outstanding grassroots Party organizations, Communist Party members, and Party workers were solemnly recognized. Nearly 200 people attended the conference, including members of the company's Party Committee, Party members, and activists.
At the meeting, Comrade Dong Jinghua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, presented party badges to 7 newly developed Party members, led them in a solemn oath of joining the Party, and had old Party members reaffirm their oath. He read out the decision on naming and commending advanced collectives and individuals within the company for the years 2020-2021. The company's Party Committee awarded three star-rated Party branches for Party building work, three model Party members, 16 outstanding Party members, and 8 excellent Party workers.
Each Party branch presented self-created, self-directed, and self-performed cultural programs with lively rhythms and diverse forms, reviewing the glorious history of the Party and promoting its glorious traditions. In his speech, Liu Shixin, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of the company, warmly congratulated the Communist Party members, Party workers, and grassroots Party organizations that were recognized. He reviewed the glorious century-long journey of the Party, comprehensively summarized the remarkable achievements made by the Party in leading the people, and profoundly summarized the astonishing achievements of the company. In light of new situations, new tasks, and new goals, he put forward four requirements for all levels of Party organizations and all Party members: first, enhance political awareness and improve overall capability; second, strengthen ideals and beliefs to achieve business goals; third, enhance a sense of responsibility to improve reform and innovation capabilities; fourth, care for and serve employees to unite hearts within the Party.
