Champion! The football team of the Ninth Institute triumphs in the 'First Jilin Province Survey and Design Cup'!

On June 25, during the final of the 'Original Intention Cup' and the first 'Survey and Design Cup' football match organized by the Jilin Province Survey and Design Association to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the Ninth Institute team defeated the Yanji City Planning and Survey Design Institute team 3:1 to win the championship. Player Zhang Baoxin won the Golden Ball Award, and Lan Zhijun won the Best Goalkeeper Award.
All teams in this competition came from member units of the provincial survey and design association, with a total of 17 teams and over 270 players participating. The company’s trade union sent a strong lineup consisting of players such as Zhang Jiwei, Wang Hui, Zhang Baoxin, Xiang Tong, Hui Sheng, Zou Jihuai, Lan Zhijun, Du Wenbo, Lin Shugang, Duan Wei, Wang Liyan, Li Li, Wang Shuai, Li Shengfeng, Su Bing, Yang Qinglong, Xu Xiliang, Wang Yue, Ren Yilong, Ding Wei, etc. They overcame difficulties such as heavy production tasks, tight on-site schedules, business trips, and not being able to attend every match. They fought tenaciously and advanced through each round to reach the finals.
In the first match on May 26, they faced a strong opponent in the Yanji City Planning and Survey Design team and narrowly lost 4:5.
In the second match against Jilin Jianyuan Group, the Ninth Institute team won 8:2. In the third match against China Energy Construction Northeast Institute, they won 2:0 and entered the quarter-finals as the second in their group.
In the quarter-finals against the Provincial Forestry Design Institute, the Ninth Institute team advanced to the semi-finals with a score of 6:2.
In the semi-finals against the Municipal Northeast Institute, the Ninth Institute team advanced to the finals with a large score of 8:1.
On June 25, in a rematch against Yanji City Planning and Survey Design team, facing the unfavorable situation of losing in their first match, the Ninth Institute players were determined to win. They fought decisively all the way and finally lived up to expectations by winning the championship.
