On June 22, the company's party committee, together with the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Production Party Committee and the Planning Party Branch, launched a series of co-construction activities for the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Base VOCs Comprehensive Treatment Project. Liu Shixin, Secretary of the Company Party Committee and General Manager, Yu Wenchao, Director of the FAW-Volkswagen Planning Department, Zhong Ming, Minister of the FAW-Volkswagen Party and Mass Work Department, and Gao Qizheng, Deputy Secretary of the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Production Party Committee attended the launch ceremony.

As the largest contractor in the FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Base VOCs Comprehensive Treatment Project, the Ninth Institute is responsible for two core tasks: the water-based paint transformation of the second painting workshop in the complete vehicle manufacturing department and the transformation of the Magotan production line. At the launch ceremony, FAW-Volkswagen briefly introduced the background of the co-construction project and released a specific plan for tripartite party building.

The leaders from all three parties launched key work items that face the greatest challenges during the implementation of the VOCs Comprehensive Treatment Project at the Changchun Base. The three parties unanimously expressed their commitment to focus on overcoming project difficulties. Through this co-construction activity, they aim to better leverage the fighting fortress role of party organizations and the exemplary role of party members, overcoming production instability caused by chip shortages and uncertainties from the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that the project achieves SOP on schedule and meets capacity targets. The mission must be accomplished as a tribute to the centenary of the Party; at the same time, this project aims to create a standardized co-construction model to provide mature co-construction experience for subsequent transformation projects. Currently, this project is gradually entering the on-site implementation phase and will soon face concentrated construction during summer breaks and a 108-day shutdown transformation construction starting on September 27.

The Ninth Institute project team will rely on this party building co-construction activity to better cooperate with partners, ensuring that all tasks are carried out meticulously while anticipating risks in advance to ensure safe and high-quality project completion. Leaders attending this launch ceremony included Hao Yanfei, Minister of Complete Vehicle Department III at FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Production Base; Sun Guilin, Painting Manager at FAW-Volkswagen Planning Department; Chen Aigang, Manager of Painting Workshop II at FAW-Volkswagen Changchun Production Base; Li Huafeng, Assistant General Manager and Dean of Manufacturing Technology Institute; Cui Zhaojun, Dean of Equipment Engineering Institute and General Manager of Landi Company; Wang Yige, Dean of Construction Engineering Institute; Song Wei, Deputy Dean of Equipment Engineering Institute; among other leaders and team members from all three parties.
