On the morning of April 30, the groundbreaking ceremony for the stamping workshop equipment of the FAW Hongqi New Energy Prosperity Base project was grandly held on-site. Zhang Xiaosheng, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering and Production Logistics Department of FAW Group, Director of Stamping and Welding Xia Changxing, Director of Assembly Dong Wei, Senior Director Liu Donglin, and Deputy Factory Director of Hongqi Prosperity Factory Zhang Shuo attended the ceremony. Company Director and Deputy General Manager Yang Yumin attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, along with Lu Zhendong, Assistant Dean of the Manufacturing Technology Institute, Yin Xiaodong, Head of the Body Department, Yang Nan, Head of the Project Management Department of the Construction Engineering Institute, and representatives from various suppliers and construction units participated in the groundbreaking ceremony.
Yang Yumin, Director and Deputy General Manager of the company, delivered an inspiring speech on behalf of the Ninth Institute. He stated that the Ninth Institute will closely monitor project goals with the equipment supplier team, unite and cooperate closely, actively respond to the requirements of the group company, and continue to promote the spirit of hard work and perseverance. They will fully support the prosperous development of the Hongqi brand and create 'new progress, new concepts, new products, new technologies, new journeys, and new contributions' for the engineering construction of the Hongqi brand, thus delivering a high-quality and satisfactory answer to the group company!
Accompanied by the sound of firecrackers, the first heavy truck equipped with hundred-ton stamping equipment slowly entered the stamping workshop, marking the official commencement of construction by the equipment manufacturer. In the near future, after officially putting into production, the stamping workshop will achieve an annual production capacity of 200,000 units to support Hongqi's goal of producing 1 million complete vehicles annually.
