Ninth Hospital Project Update | The FAW Jiefang Commercial Vehicle Guanghan Base Project Grandly Commences

On April 22, the groundbreaking ceremony for the FAW Jiefang commercial vehicle base project was grandly held in Xiangyang Town, Guanghan City, Deyang, Sichuan. Relevant leaders from the Deyang and Guanghan municipal governments and major leaders from Jiefang Company attended the ceremony. Li Yunsheng, deputy general manager of the Ninth Institute, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech, congratulating the project on its successful commencement and expressing gratitude to FAW Jiefang for its trust in the Ninth Institute. He also conveyed the Ninth Institute's determination and confidence to implement the project with high quality and high standards.
The Guanghan base project is designed with the concept of 'high quality, high efficiency, low cost, safety, energy saving, digitalization, and intelligent green factory', and will be built into a 'domestically first-class and internationally advanced' intelligent manufacturing automobile production base. Once completed, it will have a production capacity of 100,000 mid-to-high-end commercial vehicles, initially focusing on producing J6 series models and gradually introducing J7 series models based on market conditions. The project covers an area of 828 acres and is expected to start production in December 2022. The main construction content includes more than 10 major production lines primarily for stamping, welding, painting, assembly, testing, cab, chassis, etc.
The Ninth Institute is responsible for the EPC general contracting of the painting workshop construction and equipment engineering. The staff of the Ninth Institute will adhere to the core concept of 'professional service dedicated to customer satisfaction', practice the corporate mission of 'making our customers' businesses more successful', and maintain a scientific and pragmatic work attitude. Under the unified command of FAW Jiefang, they will unite and cooperate closely with various partners and supervision companies to carefully plan, manage scientifically, strictly control project quality, construction safety, and progress, resolutely achieve all construction goals of the project, and strive to make this project a fine quality project that contributes to the rapid development of FAW Jiefang and Deyang Guanghan City.
Also attending the ceremony were Shi Fu, assistant to the general manager of the company and general manager of the business center; Wang Tianyong, deputy dean of the architectural engineering institute; Song Wei, assistant dean of the equipment engineering institute; Liu Qinghai, head of the structural design department of the architectural engineering institute; Wang Hui, senior marketing manager of the business center; as well as relevant leaders from project partner China Machinery Construction.
