On April 16, at the FAW-Volkswagen 2021 Supplier Partner Conference, the company once again received the honor of "Outstanding Partner." The company's general manager and party secretary Liu Shixin attended the conference and accepted the award on stage.
As a long-term partner of FAW-Volkswagen, the Ninth Institute has always adhered to the core concept of "professional service, dedicated to customer satisfaction," providing consulting design and equipment engineering general contracting for the construction of FAW-Volkswagen's five locations and six factories. Over the past 20 years since FAW-Volkswagen established its factories, the Ninth Institute has completed nearly 5 million square meters of engineering design and construction, providing a solid backing for FAW-Volkswagen's capacity and capacity enhancement.
In recent years, the Ninth Institute's general contracting business for equipment engineering at FAW-Volkswagen has significantly improved, successfully undertaking projects such as the Tianjin Volkswagen topcoat line, Chengdu EBO project welding mechanization steel structure and electrical control engineering, second factory assembly line renovation project, welding smoke exhaust renovation project, second factory water-based paint renovation project, second factory black top line project, and several wax injection line projects. Notably, the second factory assembly technical renovation project was completed in 58 days, shortening the conventional project construction period (180 days) by 70%, setting a new domestic record for automotive production line renovations. It took only 2 days to wire production, almost achieving seamless production integration, becoming a monument on the path of cooperation between the Ninth Institute and FAW-Volkswagen.
At the same time, the Ninth Institute and FAW-Volkswagen have formed a strong alliance through joint party building, jointly completing projects such as the infrastructure white paper and the second factory black top line. They are currently working on projects like AGV for vehicle offline and heavy-duty EHB for chassis. Joint party building has become an effective carrier for promoting both party building and operational production.
The Ninth Institute has won the "Outstanding Partner" award from FAW-Volkswagen for both 2019 and 2020, fully reflecting FAW-Volkswagen's high praise for the Ninth Institute's technical strength, management capabilities, and service levels.
