Ninth Institute Project Update | Equipment Installation for FAW Jiefang New Energy Light Truck Base Project Has Started

On the afternoon of April 14, the equipment installation launch ceremony for the FAW Jiefang New Energy Light Truck Base Project, undertaken by the Ninth Mechanical Institute, was grandly held in Jimo District, Qingdao City. Leaders from the Jimo District government, Hu Hanjie, Chairman and Party Secretary of FAW Jiefang Automotive Co., Ltd., and Deputy General Manager Shang Xingwu attended the launch ceremony. Yang Yumin, Director and Deputy General Manager of the Ninth Institute, attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. The project team members, major subcontractors, and relevant parties also participated in the launch ceremony.
Since the contract was signed in August 2020, the project team of the Ninth Institute has fully leveraged its advantages in general contracting management, with the civil engineering team successfully entering the construction site on September 15. During the project implementation process, there were two outbreaks of COVID-19 in Qingdao and Changchun, shortages of construction materials, and workers returning home during the Spring Festival. With strong support from FAW Jiefang, the project team of the Ninth Institute was well-prepared and took effective measures to overcome difficulties, ultimately welcoming the arrival of equipment 15 days ahead of schedule.
In the next phase, the project team of the Ninth Institute will adhere to the corporate core philosophy of 'professional service dedicated to customer satisfaction' and practice the corporate mission of 'making our customers' businesses more successful.' With a scientific and pragmatic work attitude and a pursuit of excellence, they will carry out project management relying on the D3 digital management platform developed by the company. They will implement five principles: 'proactive, cooperative, standardized, innovative, and trustworthy,' focusing on safety, quality, and progress: First, safety in construction is paramount; we must establish a safety awareness to ensure smooth project implementation under safe conditions. Second, we must pay attention to engineering quality and strictly control it by actively taking practical measures to create quality brand projects. Third, while ensuring construction quality, we must also ensure that project progress is orderly to achieve milestone progress targets. We believe that with the joint efforts of all members of the Ninth Institute's project team and strong support from FAW Jiefang, the project will be successfully implemented.
