New Layout | The Tianjin Branch of the Ninth Mechanical Institute Grandly Opens

Rongzhu Shengye, Xingyao Qihang. On April 12, the Tianjin branch of the Ninth Institute of Machinery officially opened. Leaders from the Tianjin Dongjiang Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Song Zhiyong, Deputy General Manager of the Engineering and Production Logistics Department of FAW Group, General Manager Liu Shixin, Deputy General Managers Yang Yumin, Mu Xuefeng, Li Yunsheng, Dong Jinghua, General Manager of the Tianjin branch Yin Zhendong, and nearly a hundred representatives from clients and suppliers attended the opening ceremony.

In his speech at the ceremony, General Manager Liu Shixin warmly welcomed the leaders and guests who took time out of their busy schedules to attend the opening ceremony on behalf of the Ninth Institute. He introduced the significant meaning of the Tianjin branch's opening. After more than 60 years of development, the Ninth Institute has completed over 6,000 projects across the country and in more than a dozen countries and regions, providing clients with comprehensive engineering services including consulting, design, procurement, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and operation and maintenance. It has been rated as one of the top 100 enterprises in surveying and design and general contracting for 11 consecutive years. In 2020, the Ninth Institute completed its mixed-ownership reform, revitalizing its vitality and energy with new contracts exceeding 10 billion yuan and main business revenue nearing 4 billion yuan. Its technology, management, and service capabilities have rapidly improved, achieving leapfrog development. The establishment of the Tianjin branch is an important measure for implementing the company's 14th Five-Year Plan strategy in response to General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction on July 23, 2020, during his inspection of FAW: 'We must promote national automotive brands.' The Tianjin branch will further align with the market, integrate with clients, respond quickly, provide precise services, leverage regional advantages to ensure client peace of mind and reflect company value while better serving clients in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. At the same time, the Ninth Institute will always adhere to its core philosophy of 'professional service dedicated to customer satisfaction,' focusing on clients and striving to become an internationally first-class domestic leading automotive engineering service company. It will steadfastly contribute to the development of the national automotive industry and present excellent achievements as a tribute to the centenary of the Communist Party of China.

Song Zhiyong, Deputy General Manager of FAW Group's Engineering and Production Logistics Department, represented FAW Group at the ceremony and delivered a warm speech congratulating the Ninth Institute's Tianjin branch on its grand opening. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the significant contributions made by the Ninth Institute to FAW Group's development over the years and commended it for seizing favorable opportunities during its restructuring. He emphasized that it should firmly grasp new opportunities for 'FAW Group's strategic transformation and high-quality development' while leading new technologies in digitalization and intelligence in automotive manufacturing to fully support FAW Group's engineering construction.

Li Xiuzhu, Deputy General Manager of Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd., representing clients from Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, delivered a speech recalling nearly 20 years of cooperation between FAW Toyota and the Ninth Institute since its establishment. He fully affirmed the professionalism, breadth, and timeliness of services provided by the Ninth Institute and expressed hope that it would continue to provide solid support for FAW Toyota's strategic goals of 'crossing double hundreds and doubling' as well as 'decisive leap action and winning second entrepreneurship.'

After the unveiling ceremony and lion dance performance concluded, leaders including Liu Shixin, Song Zhiyong, Xu Wancai, Li Xiuzhu, Hu Jinbao, Yang Yumin, Yin Zhendong, and Fang Jinliang unveiled the Tianjin branch of the Ninth Institute.

Yin Zhendong, General Manager of the Tianjin branch of the Ninth Institute delivered a speech stating that he would always remember his mission. He emphasized relying closely on all employees of the branch with quality and speed as core driving factors to strive for brand projects while creating excellent performance in their respective positions to meet company expectations.

The opening ceremony concluded with a celebratory melody of 'Good Days,' marking the beginning of the Tianjin branch's journey to serve the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
