Recently, the logistics transformation project of the Hongqi H platform assembly workshop, which lasted for a year, has successfully concluded. It has now achieved stable production and met the equipment utilization rate target.
This project is a comprehensive EPC general contracting project undertaken by our company in 2019. To support the Hongqi factory's production plan for increasing capacity and adding vehicle models, the project had to be implemented without affecting the normal production of the Hongqi factory. From January 2020 to mid-November, the logistics transformation work ran concurrently with production, with the construction plan detailed down to each phase, day, and hour.
The Hongqi H assembly workshop uses nearly 300 logistics AGV carts, making its application quantity and density a pioneering achievement in domestic automotive assembly workshops. It is equipped with numerous non-standard mechanisms and various types of dispatch areas, with an unprecedented complexity in its operation routes and spaces. A large number of workstation tools needed to be newly created or modified in a short time, posing significant challenges for the team. The complex site, short construction period, and overlapping work areas brought substantial obstacles to civil construction and the installation and debugging of the tire seat conveyor line that connects with external logistics trucks.
Under various severe tests, leaders at all levels of the company and project team members worked together to devise strategies and coordinate resources to overcome one challenge after another. Through continuous optimization of plans, intense construction preparations, and difficult construction debugging, we ultimately achieved a significant enhancement in logistics supply capacity, providing strong support for Hongqi's goal of 'expanding capacity and increasing models' with an annual production target of 100,000 vehicles.
