On February 7, the steel structure hoisting of the FAW Jiefang New Energy light truck base project painting workshop was completed by 85%, the installation of the roof panels was completed by 30%, the truss hoisting of the assembly workshop was completed by 75%, and the first floor slab of the production auxiliary room was poured. The foundations of individual buildings such as the joint station building, testing workshop, canteen, and oil product station building have all been completed. The project team is working hard towards the goal of 'cold closure' before the Spring Festival.

This project started on September 16, with the painting workshop beginning roof panel installation on November 24 and the assembly workshop starting truss hoisting. The plan is to complete cold closure before the Spring Festival. The schedule is tight, and the tasks are heavy, with many overlapping processes. The on-site management team has been racing against time, striving to make progress at an 'impossible' speed. Since the first shovel of earth was dug, project team members have not taken a day off, discussing and optimizing construction plans, solving on-site problems, visiting steel structure processing plants to understand production schedules, and inspecting concrete supply capabilities at commercial concrete stations. In the face of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in Qingdao, the on-site team promptly developed epidemic prevention plans by sealing off the living areas of construction personnel, prohibiting local commuting workers from entering the site, and conducting daily temperature checks and disinfection. These effective measures have allowed the project to proceed in an orderly manner without any delays due to the pandemic.

After completing cold closure before the Spring Festival, there are still three milestone nodes waiting for the project team to challenge and conquer: equipment entry for the painting workshop on April 15, 2021, equipment entry for the assembly workshop on May 1, 2021, and successfully rolling out vehicles for the entire project on November 27, 2021. The on-site management team of No. 9 Institute will maintain high work enthusiasm, a rigorous work attitude, and a 100% commitment to work, striving until the end to fulfill the corporate mission of 'making our customers' businesses more successful', achieving project goals with a decisive posture, and contributing to the development of No. 9 Institute and FAW Jiefang Company.
