Recently, the non-standard mechanical equipment, process hanging racks, KBK procurement and service project for the Jinlong Automobile's annual production of 20,000 buses in the Zhangzhou Longhai relocation project undertaken by our company has entered the installation finishing stage.
The project covers the non-standard equipment design, manufacturing, installation, and debugging work for six workshops: the Coaster assembly workshop, the large and medium bus assembly workshop, the welding and post-welding workshop, and the chassis and component workshop. It mainly includes ground drag chain systems, plate chain systems, KBK systems, process hanging rack systems, smoke extraction systems, EMS conveyor systems, power distribution systems, crane systems, sliding sled systems, trolleys and track systems, etc. The industrial base where the project is located is not only a key project in Fujian Province but also the most advanced bus production base in China, setting a new benchmark for global bus manufacturing. The intelligent EMS conveyor system and other new equipment and technologies applied in this project are rare in bus factory construction projects.

Before the project commenced, the team from the Ninth Institute communicated multiple times with the owner and relevant units such as Fujian Construction Engineering to coordinate closely. Considering the actual situation of unfinished civil works on site, poor construction conditions, and serious cross-construction issues, a detailed construction plan was developed. During construction, the overall plan was broken down into monthly plans, weekly plans, and daily plans with precision down to each day. Colleagues on site conducted daily inspections to quickly address issues found during inspections and strictly supervised execution to resolve various problems encountered during construction in a timely manner. In terms of quality control, the Ninth Institute team prepared detailed quality requirements and inspection standards for all processes from standard parts, purchased parts, raw materials to cutting of profile steel, fabrication of welded parts, machining production, surface treatment, assembly, packaging, and transportation; during this process strict control was enforced on subcontractors to adhere to quality requirements. Before goods left the factory, they were inspected and recorded by professional quality inspectors; standard parts, purchased parts, prefabricated components were re-inspected by on-site quality inspectors upon arrival. At the same time, the project team prepared detailed installation requirements and key control items for relevant equipment; personnel conducted strict inspections on critical points during installation. This truly ensured strict quality control starting from now and from me personally; thus establishing a new quality benchmark at Jinlong Automobile's Longhai industrial base.

In terms of safety supervision, the Ninth Institute assigned dedicated safety officers who identified hazards based on daily construction content and provided early warnings through irregular on-site inspections to discover problems and hidden dangers for timely rectification. For high-risk operations involved in on-site construction such as working at heights, hoisting operations, deep foundation pit work, hot work and cross-construction activities, dedicated safety officers completed pre-job education and guidance in advance with very good results ensuring safe operations on site. In terms of site management, work areas for each construction unit were arranged in advance to manage time and space effectively to reasonably avoid overlaps in construction schedules.
With years of project experience, the Ninth Institute meticulously organized and planned ahead. The project team worked together with determination to overcome various adverse factors such as tight schedules and heavy tasks while advancing the construction progress of Jinlong Automobile's Longhai industrial base project with high quality, high standards and high starting points. Currently, the Coaster assembly workshop has entered trial production phase; welding and post-welding workshops as well as chassis and component workshops have entered debugging finishing stages; large and medium bus assembly workshop has entered installation finishing stage receiving unanimous praise from the owner. In this project, we thank the owner for their cooperation in production processes, equipment installation and debugging which supported our team’s work at Ninth Institute. Their trust not only guaranteed smooth implementation of the project but also laid a solid foundation for subsequent production training, equipment handover and engineering acceptance.

On November 11th, the Ninth Institute received a letter of commendation from Jinlong Automobile's owner praising all project personnel for their diligent work while also highlighting their strong coordination abilities and professional level in timely addressing issues during construction. Throughout the project implementation process safety production was always prioritized achieving simultaneous focus on quality, progress and safety which affirmed our company's management level and comprehensive strength. "There will be times when we ride the wind and waves; we will sail straight through clouds to reach the vast sea." The Ninth Institute project team will continue to move forward while promoting Jinlong Automobile's high-quality development with excellent craftsmanship in completing subsequent project tasks.
