On July 17, the Ninth Design and Research Institute of Machinery Industry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Ninth Institute") signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Alibaba Cloud Computing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Alibaba Cloud") at the Alibaba Group headquarters in Hangzhou, jointly creating smart factories for automotive industry enterprises.
The signing ceremony was attended by Liu Shixin, General Manager of the Ninth Institute, Li Yunsheng, Deputy General Manager, Li Qiang, Vice President of Alibaba Cloud, Pan Liwei, and relevant leaders from both sides. Liu Shixin and Li Qiang signed on behalf of their respective organizations.
Currently, the digitalization, networking, and intelligence of automotive factories have become an inevitable trend in development, which will fundamentally change the efficiency, quality, cost, and business models of enterprises. To fully leverage the Ninth Institute's technical advantages in automotive manufacturing, overall integration capabilities in factory construction, achievements and experience in smart factories, as well as Alibaba Cloud's leading advantages in big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, both parties have engaged in in-depth communication and plan to establish a strategic cooperative relationship in the field of automotive smart factory technology and business. They aim to jointly provide comprehensive smart factory solutions for automotive industry users and collaboratively build an ecosystem in the automotive manufacturing sector based on the industrial internet.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks that the two companies will achieve a strong alliance through co-creation and sharing, complementing each other's strengths for mutual benefit.
