[Qin Yue Report] On the afternoon of April 23, the vehicle off-line ceremony for the expansion line of the painting workshop at the first factory of FAW Car Company, contracted by our institute, was grandly held. Liu Songping, General Manager of the Ninth Institute, Wang Bing, Party Secretary, Liu Shixin, Assistant General Manager, and other leaders from the institute and relevant departments were invited to attend the off-line ceremony.
At the ceremony, representatives from the management teams of both the automotive technology department and the quality assurance department provided a brief report on the achievement of project goals. Subsequently, leaders from both FAW Car Company and the Ninth Institute visited the decoration line to inspect the first batch of off-line vehicles. Secretary Wang Yuchun from FAW Car Company and Secretary Wang Bing from our institute adorned the first vehicle with a red flower. Dean Liu Songping from the Ninth Institute delivered a speech on behalf of the general contracting unit for the off-line ceremony. All leaders and guests attending the off-line ceremony signed a banner for commemoration and took group photos.
The painting workshop expansion line project at the first factory of FAW Car Company is a key project during the 12th Five-Year Plan period for the group company and also a key project for tackling challenges within the Ninth Institute. The Ninth Institute formed a design and project management team centered around senior experts from the group, experts, and core party members. They adopted advanced technologies such as standardized and modular design, three-dimensional design, and modular manufacturing. The project team overcame difficulties such as tight schedules and multi-disciplinary cross-construction, ensuring the smooth achievement of project goals. This project set new records for both quality and progress indicators in building lines for FAW Car Company, and its production has significant implications for achieving the overall strategy of FAW Car Company.
