To organize the majority of employees around the theme of 'increasing revenue and reducing expenditure, lowering costs and increasing efficiency', based on their positions and striving to achieve annual business goals, on April 16, the Ninth Institute held a special work report meeting. The party committee team, senior managers, and main leaders from various centers, institutes, and functional departments attended the report. The meeting was chaired by Liu Shixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager.
Each center, institute, and functional department reported based on their departmental business realities, covering aspects such as customer development, industry chain extension, product manufacturing, new business capability building, project design optimization, project control, cost reduction in procurement, and cost reduction in management. After the reports, the party committee leaders provided comments.
In his concluding speech, Liu Shixin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager, fully affirmed this report and proposed five requirements for subsequent work: First, all fields and employees should firmly establish awareness of increasing revenue and cost awareness, focusing on value creation as the core, being grounded in the present while looking to the future to ensure the high-quality development of the Ninth Institute; Second, the major customer team should think creatively, deeply cultivate the market, establish technical standards, strengthen in-depth discussions, and improve premium capabilities and bid winning rates; Third, each center should strengthen benchmarking learning with the engineering institute and functional departments to learn from each other and ensure that this work is implemented in all fields; Fourth, speed equals cost; project milestone control should be strengthened to effectively reduce project management costs; Fifth, optimize from multiple dimensions such as design optimization, project site management, procurement, manufacturing, and daily office work to improve management systems and processes while firmly grasping the 'bull's nose' of cost reduction.
'Increasing revenue and reducing expenditure, lowering costs and increasing efficiency; party members take the lead; all employees contribute' is set as the theme for this year's practical activities. The Ninth Institute's Party Committee requires all levels of party organizations, all party members, and a wide range of employees to broaden sources based on their positions, increase efficiency, reduce costs, innovate bravely, promote widely, prevent epidemics, strive passionately for excellence to ensure that practical activities achieve tangible results.
