The Ninth Academy held a meeting on party conduct, integrity construction, and anti-corruption work.

In order to deeply implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, and to fulfill the requirements of the Group Company's meeting on party conduct, integrity construction, and anti-corruption work as well as the warning education conference, on April 10, the Ninth Institute held the 2020 meeting on party conduct, integrity construction, and anti-corruption work. Members of the Ninth Institute's Party Committee, Discipline Inspection Committee members, senior managers, senior manager assistants, heads of functional departments, secretaries and deputy secretaries of various directly affiliated party (general) branches, organizational committee members, discipline inspection committee members, and discipline inspection cadres attended the meeting. The meeting had a main venue and one video sub-venue. The Deputy Secretary of the Ninth Institute's Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee, Mu Xuefeng, presided over the meeting.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager Liu Shixin conveyed and studied the spirit of the Group Company's meeting on party conduct, integrity construction, and anti-corruption work as well as the warning education conference. Based on summarizing and reviewing the work in 2019, the meeting deployed key tasks for 2020 and proposed seven aspects of work measures. At the meeting, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee Mu Xuefeng reported on recent typical cases from the Group Company and conducted a collective integrity reminder talk for all participants. He pointed out that after the company's restructuring, discipline inspection work must resolutely continue and carry forward the Group Company's fine style of strict management and rigorous work; it can only be strengthened, not weakened. He emphasized that the Ninth Institute is not a pure land at present; various temptations still exist. Reports from higher-level inspections, internal inspections, and public complaints reflect that there are still integrity risks in some areas. For example, there are still risks of embedded design in the design field, and potential integrity risks between suppliers during project management and procurement processes. Any behavior that harms the interests of the company and employees will be thoroughly investigated once discovered; there will be no leniency. He reminded party members and cadres at all levels to recognize the situation, maintain a clear mind at all times, pay high attention to party conduct, integrity construction, and anti-corruption work, and set an example for all employees in every action and word.
Finally, Deputy Secretary of the Ninth Institute's Party Committee and General Manager Liu Shixin delivered an important speech and put forward new requirements for the 2020 work tasks: First, deeply study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection to ensure that thoughts and actions are highly consistent with the Party Central Committee; second, continuously strengthen theoretical armament and discipline education to firmly establish a mindset of 'not wanting to be corrupt'; third, unswervingly uphold integrity and discipline while continuously strengthening deterrence against 'daring to be corrupt'; fourth, further strengthen constraints and supervision over power operation to continuously tighten the 'cannot be corrupt' cage; fifth, further enhance the self-construction of discipline inspection institutions to strengthen teams and ensure that cadres are competent. He called on party members and cadres at all levels to remain true to their original aspirations and keep their mission in mind while solidly advancing party conduct, integrity construction, and anti-corruption work in order to provide strong support for achieving annual work goals and building an internationally first-class domestic leading automotive engineering manufacturing service provider.
