The first phase of the renovation project for the H General Assembly Workshop at the Hongqi Factory has been completed.

On March 10, the completion ceremony for the first phase of the renovation project of the H assembly workshop at the Hongqi factory was held in the assembly workshop. The first Hongqi HS7 produced from the renovated production line rolled off the assembly line, marking the successful completion of the first phase of the renovation task by the Ninth Institute as the general contractor after 58 days of effort, laying a solid foundation for achieving an annual production and sales target of 200,000 vehicles for the new Hongqi brand.
The project officially commenced on January 12. Faced with limited construction space on site, a short construction period, heavy tasks, difficulties in personnel and material preparation during the Spring Festival, a 20-day cycle for cross-debugging with TTO production, and impacts from the pandemic, the Ninth Institute adopted various effective measures to fully ensure the progress of the project renovation.
On one hand, strict control over incoming personnel, regular disinfection, and measures to ensure personnel safety were implemented at the construction site. On the other hand, detailed contingency plans were developed, personnel configuration was increased, risks were anticipated in advance, and adequate responses were prepared.
As of now, the Ninth Institute has invested over 850 person-times of management and technical personnel and over 4,500 person-times of construction personnel. Through the joint efforts of the project team and related personnel, completion was achieved two days ahead of schedule, and production commenced smoothly.
The successful completion of the phase renovation has laid a good foundation for the overall project progress. The project team is confident in completing subsequent project tasks on time and with quality.
