[Qin Yue reported] In order to better carry out and promote digital work, on the afternoon of April 11, the Equipment Engineering Division held a digital work promotion meeting in Conference Room 401 of the West Building. The meeting studied and discussed the development of digital work in the Ninth Institute. More than 20 people attended the meeting, including the deputy chief engineer of the Equipment Division, various department heads, and members of the digital work studio. Zhao Rui, head of the digital room of the Institute's Technology Development Department, attended to provide guidance. The meeting was chaired by Li Yunsheng, president of the Equipment Engineering Division.

The meeting began with Qin Yue representing the division's digital work studio to report on "The Digital Work Plan of the Equipment Engineering Division and the Work Arrangement of the Digital Work Studio for 2014." The report detailed the background, content, goals, plans, models, resource allocation, talent team construction, and work arrangements for 2014 regarding digital work in the Equipment Engineering Division. In particular, regarding work plans, a detailed breakdown was made based on annual units in conjunction with the division's digital work plan. The 2014 work arrangements included detailed plans for aspects such as three-dimensional design development and application, as well as training and application of CAE technology.

At the meeting, Zhao Rui, head of the digital room of the Institute's Technology Development Department, provided a systematic introduction based on the Ninth Institute's digital work plan and the current state of digital work in major design institutes and engineering companies in the industry. He elaborated on the prospects, directions, and urgent issues that need to be addressed in digital work. Leaders such as Deputy Chief Engineer Chen Xizhong also expressed their thoughts and expectations regarding digital work.

At the meeting, President Li Yunsheng emphasized that everyone should fully recognize the importance of digital work; each professional department should strongly support this effort with advance planning for human resources; a monthly meeting system should be established to ensure that work progresses according to plan; at the same time, he required that the digital work studio be meticulously organized and systematically planned, with members overcoming difficulties and collaborating; everyone in the division should work together to ensure that digital work is done well. This digital work promotion meeting marks the comprehensive launch of digital work in the Equipment Division for 2014.
