On the afternoon of September 28, Qiu Xiandong, Deputy General Manager of China FAW Group, visited the Hongqi HE welding and painting site to hold a progress inspection meeting. He was accompanied by Han Xinliang, Minister of the Engineering and Production Logistics Department, Zhang Xiaosheng, Assistant Minister, Yang Yumin, Deputy General Manager of the Ninth Institute, Project Manager Hu Chenglin, and other leaders.
At the meeting, Yu Zemia from the Engineering and Production Logistics Department introduced the construction progress of various sections including pretreatment electrophoresis, spray painting room, drying room, mechanization, and electrical systems. He also reported to Deputy General Manager Qiu Xiandong on the results of the safety promotion activities organized by the H Painting Project Department of the Ninth Institute—namely, the safety commitment activity for the new construction project of the H platform painting at the Hongqi Changchun base. Subsequently, all leaders conducted progress inspections in each construction area and inspected the construction progress of the corridor.
At this stage, major work such as platform installation in the pretreatment area, room body construction, post-treatment closed area setup, and module positioning has been completed. The installation of the piping system is progressing in an orderly manner. In the spray painting room area, three parts of the room body, joint platform, and 5.2m closed area have been installed; eight mid-coating robots have been installed; and paint transfer construction is underway. In the drying room area, four lines for electrophoresis, mid-coating, flash drying, and wax drying have completed forging positioning, welding, and insulation work; all devices for topcoat drying have been delivered and installed; forging is currently being installed. In the three-dimensional warehouse area, steel structure installation for storage positions has been completed; stackers have been installed; platform installation is 90% complete; and mechanical rod beds and turntables are currently being installed.
After the meeting, Deputy General Manager Yang Yumin inspected the project command room and fully affirmed the work of the project team. He emphasized that it is essential to ensure that the overall project schedule does not lag behind and that key milestones remain firm. The new construction project of the Hongqi H platform painting workshop is also a significant part of 'Revitalizing FAW and Rejuvenating Hongqi.' All members of the Hongqi H Painting Project Department pledge to carry out the Hongqi project safely, with high quality and efficiency, using professional standards and enthusiastic service.
