The company successfully signed the contract for the intelligent upgrade and transformation project of the SANY wide-body mining truck assembly line.

After more than three months of tracking, planning, proposal exchanges, and business negotiations, the Ninth Academy signed a consulting design contract for the intelligent upgrade and transformation of SANY's wide-body mining truck assembly line. This is the first overall solution consulting project for the intelligent upgrade of a production line at our academy, and it also marks our initial collaboration experience with SANY Group, a leader in the heavy industry. In late April, Operations Manager Wang Hui immediately went to the site with the head of the machining assembly department, Yang Yaoyong, to understand the project situation as soon as he received the project information.

Upon returning to the company, a team was quickly formed that included leaders in assembly process automation, production line logistics, production information systems, and digital factories. With a preliminary understanding of the project situation and user needs, the project team promptly went to the site to carry out proposal design. They conducted an in-depth analysis of customer product characteristics, production processes, and information planning, and developed an intelligent upgrade plan for the production line. During this period, Dean Li Huafeng led key personnel in assembly to conduct in-depth planning and review of the proposal. In mid-May, Deputy General Manager Yang Yumin led the project team to report to senior executives such as the Chairman and General Manager of SANY International. The users highly recognized the Ninth Academy's proposal and promised that this project would not go through a bidding process but would be exclusively entrusted to the Ninth Academy for design.

While quickly communicating technical agreements and contracts with users, in order to meet the stringent technical requirements proposed by users on schedule and to high standards, project team members conducted in-depth on-site research under the leadership of Chief Engineer Xiao Lingli. For two consecutive weeks, they communicated fully with SANY's process personnel and on-site operators in sweltering heat at the production line site to understand the current production situation, collect points of demand and difficulties for intelligent upgrades, study each aspect of the assembly process in detail, conduct in-depth research on key components, and thoroughly investigate SANY Group's information status and overall planning. They then repeatedly discussed and collaborated to solve every key point and difficulty in the design proposal. Before signing the contract, they completed a large amount of work including formulating a technical proposal framework, developing 60% of the automation plan, providing numerous product improvement suggestions, organizing logistics BOM lists, designing automated logistics routes, and converting factory numerical models. The technical capabilities and work attitude of people from the Ninth Academy were highly recognized by users, ensuring a smooth contract signing. In a context where there is overcapacity in China's automotive industry and large-scale new projects are becoming increasingly rare, while production enterprises urgently need to achieve intelligent upgrades to meet the demands of 'Made in China 2025', customer demand for factory design will shift from large-scale, extensive planning designs to refined designs that solve actual factory problems through intelligent upgrades.

In response to this change, our academy has been deeply researching the integration of intelligent manufacturing technology with automotive factories since 2015 while also deepening processes to meet user demands for refined planning. The signing of the SANY Intelligent Transformation Project marks a crucial first step for the Ninth Academy's factory design in assisting production enterprises in achieving upgrades in intelligent manufacturing. This project has extremely high technical requirements and tight progress demands. The project team will uphold the innovative spirit of people from the Ninth Academy—taking responsibility and collaborating—during subsequent detailed design processes under the guidance of the chief engineer's office while working closely with brother departments to deliver a satisfactory answer to users. At the same time, it will lay a solid foundation for deep management of projects and deep cooperation with SANY Group.
