The Ninth Institute is actively involved in the project engineering of Hongqi's revival. After completing the upgrades and renovations of the Hongqi L platform's overall assembly, facade, and stamping, it undertook the overall contracting project for the new Hongqi H platform's painting in 2019. The Ninth Institute has a deep technical foundation and extensive project experience in the field of painting contracting, capable of providing clients with a full set of EPC management services. The new Hongqi H platform painting workshop project covers all aspects of M+E and B+U. Currently, the overall technical planning of the project has been completed, and the factory is in the civil construction phase, with equipment installation expected to begin in early July.

Through digital design, it tests the feasibility and reliability from processes to signals, achieving a seamless connection from design to actual production through virtual trial production.

Leading domestic management and maintenance system
In terms of body quality management, the new H platform painting workshop will use a leading domestic central control room quality traceability intelligent maintenance system. Intelligent cameras will be installed at key inspection stations to identify and record body quality issues for quality traceability; intelligent cameras installed along logistics paths can accurately measure the number of bodies in sections and storage areas, alerting to logistics bottlenecks. The data collected by the system can be used for process and quality analysis comparisons and can also be exported and sent as analysis reports to achieve comprehensive monitoring of body painting quality.

The new H platform painting workshop will fully adopt a preventive intelligent maintenance management system, making equipment maintenance more efficient and convenient. The system can record parameters and operational information of equipment and components, conduct big data analysis modeling, forecast potential failures, greatly enhancing the reliability of overall operations.

The central control room system of the H platform painting workshop not only supports equipment monitoring within the factory but also allows remote access to the workshop's central control system via VPN using mobile phones or computer apps for remote monitoring and off-site technical support.

Users can also analyze energy consumption comparisons over different time periods to implement energy-saving measures.

The new H platform painting workshop will use an intelligent logistics and storage central control system that features order import, dynamic scheduling, logistics planning, real-time monitoring, etc. The system's modular customization function allows for color management plans based on the latest body color configurations, including production shift schedules, production plans, order management, order execution, etc., greatly facilitating factory production logistics planning.

The new H painting workshop will also establish a three-dimensional garage with five aisles and a total of 280 storage locations for storing bodies and skids. Each storage location is interconnected and operated through a body garage scheduling system, reducing energy consumption while saving significant space.

The new H platform painting workshop primarily uses skids for transportation; however, when skids cannot be used during transfers between production lines and body garages, it employs the latest AGV automatic transport vehicles that do not require manual operation, saving labor.

The electrophoresis used in the new H platform painting workshop employs the latest international IGBT module control technology, which has high electrical efficiency and low current ripple. This reduces electricity consumption while allowing for a more uniform paint film.

The spray booth adopts dry spray technology developed by the Ninth Institute itself and verified through testing. Waste paint disposal is more convenient; combined with circulating air utilization technology, it achieves a 70% utilization rate of circulating air, saving energy by 40% compared to traditional spray booths.

The drying room uses direct drying technology that eliminates elevators at entrances and exits. Coupled with patented new sealing technology from the Ninth Institute, it reduces heat loss while lowering failure rates in transportation parts. The drying room also employs flexible energy-saving adjustment technology that automatically adjusts drying power according to vehicle models and production rhythms to save energy.

Waste gas treatment utilizes VOC waste gas concentration treatment technology developed by the Ninth Institute. Emission levels meet the latest stringent environmental protection emission standards issued in various regions.

The factory building and public power facilities use full three-dimensional design to minimize interference issues. The roof of the factory is made from removable steel frame lightweight roof panels with built-in insulation functions that are energy-efficient and environmentally friendly while being easy to install.
