On the morning of December 11, at the side of Yinwan Road in Ningbo Hangzhou Bay New Area, colorful flags fluttered, cannons roared, guests gathered, and applause erupted as the groundbreaking ceremony for the Geely Aisin Automatic Transmission Construction Project was grandly held. Wang Lizhi, Chairman of the Ninth Institute, and Shi Fu, Minister of the Production Department, attended the ceremony and witnessed this important moment together with guests from the Hangzhou Bay New Area government, Japan Aisin, and Geely Automobile. The Geely Aisin Automatic Transmission Construction Project is a joint venture established by Geely Automobile Group and Japan Aisin Company to jointly invest in the construction of an automatic transmission production factory.
The project involves the construction of a new factory, including a factory area, joint workshop, residential building, station building, and other power and living service facilities, covering a total area of approximately 143,800 square meters and a total construction area of about 96,700 square meters. Construction began in November 2018 and SOP was achieved in February 2020. This is also Geely Automobile Group's first EPC general contracting project for construction and installation. The Ninth Institute undertakes the EPC general contracting work for this project. Company leaders, the production department, and the architectural engineering institute attach great importance to this project, meticulously planning during the bidding phase and communicating diligently. During the implementation phase, they organized a strong team to ensure progress milestones, scientifically control costs, and provide high-quality services.
Chairman Wang Lizhi expressed special gratitude for the trust of the owner. Chairman Wang promised that the Ninth Institute would not disappoint the owner's expectations and would adhere to the corporate purpose of 'taking user needs as our own responsibility and creating competitiveness for users.' A strong project management team will be formed, along with an efficient construction team to create a factory of first-class quality through first-class management, first-class design, and first-class construction.
