On the afternoon of November 8, 2018, the technical forum of the Engineering Construction and Equipment Technology Branch of the China Society of Automotive Engineers, organized by the company, was successfully held at the Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center. This is a biennial academic event for scientific and technological workers in the field of engineering construction and equipment in the automotive industry. The theme of this technical forum was "Development and Outlook of Intelligent Manufacturing Technology," focusing on hot topics such as the development history and trends of intelligent manufacturing technology, development and application of intelligent equipment technology, digital factory solutions, and applications of intelligent robotics technology. Seven experts from FAW Group, Geely Automobile, Beijing Hyundai, Dongfeng Design Institute, Siemens, China Machinery Association, and our company were invited to share their technical insights.
More than 100 guests, experts, scholars, and members from FAW Group, Dongfeng Motor, SAIC Volkswagen, Geely Automobile, Tsinghua University, and the Automotive Society attended the technical forum, making it the most successful technical forum in the branch's history. Participants exchanged practical experiences in intelligent manufacturing and discussed future development directions. This technical forum not only deepened the understanding of intelligent manufacturing technology among attendees but also provided opportunities for various enterprises to explore cooperation.
The Engineering Construction and Equipment Technology Branch of the China Society of Automotive Engineers has been established for ten years since its founding in 2008. It has developed nearly thirty group members and nearly one hundred individual members. The branch adheres to the purpose of leading technological development, building communication platforms, promoting standard construction, and enhancing capabilities to support technological development in the field of engineering construction and equipment in the automotive industry. As the chair unit of this branch since its establishment, our company has been responsible for organizing branch activities and is committed to making it a platform for technical exchange in the field of engineering construction and equipment in the automotive industry.
In 2019, we will actively carry out work in areas such as leading technological development, extensive communication among members, and formulating group standards, aiming to serve our members well and make the branch an advanced branch of the China Society of Automotive Engineers.
